Although we were rained out the previous week, yesterday, June 13, 2020, the weather held up enough for us to enjoy a leisurely scenic drive. About 40 people in 22 Teslas gathered at the Sarasota Supercharger and linked in a silent caravan along Longboat Key to beautiful Anna Maria Island. We noted a few turned heads on the way.
To continue to safely combat cabin fever in the midst of a pandemic we will be planning other scenic drives and In-Car activities. If you have a specific idea for future scenic drives, please send me a message at lfchanin@gmail.com. We are looking for a scenic route of not more than a two-hour drive, one-way. Ideally, it should start at a location that would accommodate the gathering of several dozen cars and should end at a point of interest. Starting the trip off at a large Supercharger Station would be an ideal kick-off location. It can be anywhere in the state.
Here are some photos of yesterday’s drive.
Natalie & Mike. I want to wish Mike a very Happy Birthday!
