On July 5, 2020, despite the dubious forecast, the weather gods shone down on us and rewarded us with a gorgeous day. I want to thank Event Coordinator, Paul Einselen, for planning such a beautiful scenic drive and silent Tesla caravan. It was another perfect In-Car activity that was a safe way to escape the pandemic and get out of the house with fellow Tesla enthusiasts.
We gathered at the Clearwater Mall and proceeded over the Courtney Campbell Causeway, then across the Howard Frankland Bridge, and finally over the Gandy Bridge. We then continued on to our final destination Davis Islands Beach.
I am happy to see that everyone practiced proper social distancing by wearing face masks and maintaining adequate distance from fellow club members. We had about 15 Teslas and over 20 members (and one canine) participating in this fun activity.
Here are some photos.
