Join Florida Tesla Enthusiasts in a parade to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 - Cocoa Beach - July 13th

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation will be hosting multi-day events highlighting one of the most memorable moments in history – man’s first steps on the Moon – and the exploration efforts that followed bringing the United States towards today’s deep space exploration.

When you register for this event you will have the option of just committing to drive your Tesla in a celebration parade, or simply attending the free public events, or selecting both the parade and other events.

This is a charity event that extends from July 12th to July 16th. Our Tesla club activities are confined to July 13th. All events occurring on July 13^th are free to the public with the exception of VIP and Reserved seating for the concert.

Parade: Fifty – Years of Space: Astronaut Parade – City of Cocoa Beach

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation and the City of Cocoa Beach have asked our club to be in the parade in our Teslas to showcase the next generation, innovation and the future. At the current time there are provisions for up to 15 Teslas to participate in the parade.

Time: 9:30am – 11:30am

Place: 2 S Orlando Avenue, Cocoa, FL 32931

After Parade Street Party – 11:30am – 2:00pm

Concert at Cocoa Riverfront Park with Edison’s Children (Rick Armstrong’s Band) and Alan Parsons Project. General public seating is free, bring your own chair.

Entrance to the VIP Tent includes a Reserved Concert Seat, Food and Drinks.
