On Saturday, August 14, from 3 -7 pm, the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) will be hosting a free event with the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy. They will be providing EV test drives for those 25 years and up with a valid driver's license or rides for anyone.

In addition to electric vehicle dealers, there will be vendors from solar power companies and other sustainability-minded organizations.

The event organizers encourage you to bring your Tesla, engage with the public to describe your ownership experience, and promote EVs in general.

The event will be held at Henry's Depot at 212 W 1st St, Sanford, FL 32771.

Henry's Depot is one of Sanford's premiere gastro-destinations with eight unique restaurants with offerings that include vegan, seafood, specialty coffees, and desserts. The food hall occupies the city's original train depot and central terminus of Henry Plant's Orange Belt line.
