Last week, Elon announced the 'biggest barbecue in the world' would be held at the opening of the Austin Gigafactory on Thursday April 7th.

Details are scarce and invites have not yet gone out, but a number of members have expressed interest in either going to the event or driving to Austin, and maybe even down to SpaceX Starbase at Boca Chica.

If you are planning to attend please add your name to this event. Depending on the level of interest we may organize something.

FYI - Tesla Owners Club of Austin is hosting Teslacon at the same time, billed as the 'biggest Tesla fan gathering ever'. That event will include a caravan drive down to Boca Chica and runs from April 5-9.
