Tesla just tweeted out a time lapse of the Brooksville Supercharger build out - one of the first instances of prefabricating everything off site - 8 days from start to finish for the install.

In related news, on February 10th, the U.S. Department of Energy announced a new $5 billion federal program to boost the deployment of DC fast charging networks throughout the country which includes just over $29 million for specifically earmarked for Florida. FLDOT will need to submit its deployment plan by no later than August 1, 2022 and has been working on its Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Master Plan (EVMP) – which can download here: https://www.fdot.gov/planning/policy/ev/default

Construction has been finished at Punta Gorda for probably something like eight weeks. It is getting the final inspections and Charlotte County is famous for their foot dragging on that particularly if you have to deal with Florida Power and Light which is one of the worst power companies in the country.
